Case study · Ridge Roofing · DC, Maryland & Virginia

Quick answer: Ridge Roofing LLC repairs, replaces and installs residential and commercial roofs across Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia. Founded in 2006 by William Marshall, a GAF Master Roofer, the business had real credentials and no website that said so. I built one from scratch, designed to turn a worried homeowner into a quote request in one scroll.

At a glance

  • Client: Ridge Roofing LLC

  • Service area: DC, Maryland & Virginia

  • Scope: Wireframes, design, build, on-page SEO

  • Platform: Wix Editor, Wix Forms

  • Format: One long-form landing page

  • Domain: ridgeroofing.info

The brief

Nobody shops for a roof for fun. They arrive after a storm, a leak or an insurance letter, asking one question: can I trust these people?

Roofing is a high-ticket, trust-heavy purchase. Homeowners compare a local owner-operator against national franchises and directory listings that all look the same.

The site had to do three jobs at once: prove credibility fast (owner-operated, licensed, bonded, insured, GAF-certified), make six very different services unmistakable, and get the visitor to a call or a quote before they went back to Google.

The approach

  1. One page, read in one sitting: Roofing buyers usually decide in one session. The navigation (About, Services, How it works, Testimonials, Contact) jumps to sections of a single page, so nothing breaks the momentum between headline and quote form.

  2. A hero that answers who, what and where: "Quality Roofing for Homes & Businesses Across DC, MD & VA" over real roofing photography, with one primary action, Get a Free Quote, and one secondary, View Services.

  3. Trust restated in a ticker: Right under the hero, a scrolling bar repeats what a nervous buyer needs to hear: manufacturer-certified crews, a 25-year workmanship warranty, insurance claim support and same-week emergency repairs.

  4. Six services, six buttons: Emergency repair, replacement, new installation, storm damage, inspections and gutters each get an image, a short description and their own Request This Service button.

  5. Proof, then the form: A before, during and finished gallery of real projects, homeowner testimonials, and a dark, high-contrast quote form next to William's direct contact details.

Ideation and process

  1. Discovery: Mapped who calls a roofer and why: storm damage, insurance claims and leaks put off too long.

  2. Wireframe: One long page, sketched section by section: hero, trust bar, about, services, proof, testimonials, contact.

  3. Wix build: A charcoal and red brand system over real roofing photography, with light and dark sections alternating.

  4. Form, QA, launch: A Wix Forms quote request, mobile testing, and launch on the business's own domain.

The sitemap

  • Hero: Free quote, Services

  • About: Owner on job, Straight pricing, Clean finish

  • Services: Repair, Replace, Install, Storm, Inspect, Gutters

  • Proof: Gallery, Reviews

  • Contact: Quote form, Call

Sections that work like a table of contents.

Every section carries its own complete argument, a service, a promise or a proof point, so the page makes sense whether someone scrolls it all or jumps straight to Services from the menu.

Light and black sections alternate down the page. That rhythm keeps a long page easy to read and quietly tells the visitor where they are. Underneath, the page titles, descriptions and image alt text are set up around the real service area, on the business's own domain.

Frequently asked questions

Who designed the Ridge Roofing website?

Oluwafemi Aaron Ekemenah of Xplore Visual Creatives planned and built the Ridge Roofing website, a one-page Wix landing page for a GAF Master Roofer serving Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia.

What platform is the Ridge Roofing website built on?

Wix, using the Wix Editor, Wix Forms for the quote request, a live chat widget and the business's own domain, ridgeroofing.info.

Why is the Ridge Roofing site a single page?

Roofing buyers usually decide in one sitting, so one page carries them from headline to trust signals, services, proof and a quote form without a click breaking the momentum.
